The Ouă din Bihor farm operates in Cauaceu, Biharia commune, Bihor County, and is part of an integrated production system: laying-hen halls, automated egg collection, sorting, grading and packing center. Eggs are collected automatically from the production halls and transported on conveyors to the sorting center. There they are checked, sorted, graded by weight, marked and packed using automated equipment and control procedures.
Eggs are taken from the nests directly onto the conveyors.

Rearing in COD 2 – aviaries
The farm also has alternative rearing capacity, COD 2, in aviaries, with Big Dutchman technology. Automated systems handle feeding, watering, lighting, air, ventilation, manure removal and egg collection. The new hall has a capacity of 53,127 laying hens.
Control, hygiene and traceability
The production process is organized to ensure egg quality from farm to pack. Eggs are checked, sorted, graded, marked and stored under proper conditions until delivery.
